EMV Production Scheduler
Job Description
The EMV Production Scheduler manages the production and chip flashing schedules for a fast-paced, 24/5 high-mix/high-volume manufacturing plant. In this role, you will collaborate with material planners to secure raw stock, partner with operations to meet production targets, and work with logistics to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule & Optimize: Build and update detailed production schedules using ERP and other data systems to maximize product availability and minimize machine downtime. Launch production orders accordingly.
Monitor & Adjust: Track forecasts, customer orders, backlogs, and work-in-progress (WIP) reports to manage material requirements and priorities.
Adapt to Changes: Quickly revise schedules when faced with shifting customer demand, labor shortages, or material constraints, collaborating closely with management and stakeholders.
Balance Workloads: Partner with regional planning teams to support load balancing across sites.
Prioritize Orders: Group and prioritize EMV orders by customer due dates to maintain an efficient production flow.
Resolve Supply Issues: Work with the Quality team to address vendor issues or supply chain discrepancies.
Manage External Vendors: Coordinate material processing with third-party service providers.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in lean manufacturing activities and problem-solving initiatives using Kaizen and 5-Why analysis.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing job shop environment.
Software Skills: 3–5 years of dedicated SAP experience, including MRP analysis (Required). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Process Management: Proven ability to follow, write, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Problem-Solving: Ability to solve complex, unpredictable problems with multiple variables.
Quality Standards: Experience working within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) environment.
Core Traits: High attention to detail with the ability to adapt to daily shifting priorities.

Pay Range: Salary $70,645.00 to $80,357.00
