Step into a rewarding contract position serving students across two elementary and one middle school near Woodland, WA. This opportunity is designed for a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with an Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification who thrives in dynamic, school-based settings and enjoys making a direct impact on students’ growth and learning.
As part of your role, you’ll provide essential OT services across a part-time schedule of 21 hours per week. Your expertise will support a diverse group of students as you collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive, engaging learning environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Active ESA certification
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to tailor occupational therapy strategies to various age groups and developmental stages
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ needs and develop individualized OT intervention plans
- Deliver therapy sessions in group and individual settings at elementary and middle schools
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to integrate strategies into classroom routines
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Contribute to IEP meetings and support goal-setting for students
- Monitor and adjust interventions to ensure progress and success
