This school-based role spans from August 10, 2026 to May 28, 2027, offering a 30-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP-CCC credentials
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure in Florida)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong leadership capabilities to supervise 3 Speech-Language Assistants (SLAs)
  • Comfortable working with PreK-12th grade students and a mixed caseload
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 150 students
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and monitor student progress
  • Supervise, mentor, and support three SLAs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal guidelines
  • Attend staffing meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and provide staff in-services as needed
