This contract opportunity centers on conducting bilingual speech-language evaluations on a per-diem basis, prioritizing on-site presence with the potential to move to a hybrid or virtual model as the year progresses.
Leverage your expertise in school-based speech pathology, including pediatric and SLP-CCC skills, to assess and guide learners in a collaborative educational setting. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or in CFY status
- Licensed, or eligible for licensure, as an SLP in New York State
- Previous experience in school, pediatric, healthcare, or teletherapy environments
- Bilingual abilities required
- Strong knowledge of evaluation protocols and IEP documentation
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for K-12 students
- Participate in IEP meetings and share results with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide professional insights to support individualized education planning
- Document findings clearly and efficiently
- Collaborate closely with school staff and families
