Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for the state of California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
  • Previous experience with middle school students or school-based settings is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families
  • Organizational skills for managing documentation, scheduling, and caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for middle school students
  • Conduct therapy sessions in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate records and document progress for each student
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
