Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working directly with students in an elementary school setting. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, providing high-quality speech and language therapy services. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 24, 2027.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid SLP State License and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in school-based SLP roles, especially with elementary-aged students, is strongly desired
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary education team

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments to students, developing individualized education plans (IEPs) as necessary
  • Provide direct therapy services onsite at the elementary school, focusing on communication, articulation, language, fluency, and social aspects
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to meet evolving student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to ensure students’ academic and social success
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and related school-based activities
