Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students ages 3-22 in a vibrant learning community near San Bernardino, CA. This role places you in a dynamic, field-based setting, where you will provide vital Occupational Therapy services across K-12 campuses. Multiple positions are available: two full-time, full school year assignments and one maternity leave coverage (anticipated August to March).

You’ll thrive if you have a passion for supporting students with diverse needs—ranging from mild to severe—and excel at managing a varied, ever-changing caseload. Your expertise in administering the BOT 3 and Peabody assessments will directly inform meaningful interventions and service planning, helping you address parental concerns while advocating effectively for students.

Qualifications:

  • Hold an active California Occupational Therapy license
  • Demonstrated experience working in California schools
  • Proficient in administering BOT 3 and Peabody assessments for ages 3-22 with multiple disabilities
  • Strong skills in data-driven decision-making for service recommendations
  • Capable of working independently in itinerant roles, with minimal district oversight
  • Ability to self-manage schedules based on district needs
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and consult for students who require occupational therapy services
  • Develop and implement individualized interventions
  • Maintain flexibility for a fluctuating caseload without a cap on student numbers
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to parents, collaborating staff, and IEP teams
  • Adapt quickly to changing caseloads and school assignments across the district

Experience professional autonomy while making a difference for exceptional students. If you are motivated, resourceful, and ready to take on a pivotal field-based role, we invite you to apply now and bring your expertise to an inclusive educational environment!

Compensation for this position ranges from $43.86 to $63.86. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
