Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP
  • CCC-SLP credential or willingness to complete the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based and/or pediatric settings
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse student populations
  • Strong organizational skills to manage assessments, paperwork, and progress tracking

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with varying needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and document findings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
  • Monitor and report student progress, updating documentation as required
  • Adapt interventions to ensure students’ success and growth in their educational environment
  • Provide guidance and support for classroom accommodations
