Job Description
Empower students to find their voice and reach their full potential in a dynamic school-based setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Multiple contract opportunities are available in the Gettysburg, New Oxford, and York, PA areas, supporting Early Intervention and K-12 learners with a range of speech and language needs. These positions are fully onsite and offer meaningful collaboration with educational teams while directly impacting student growth.
Opportunities Available:
- Two positions supporting the North Eastern region’s elementary schools (Conewango & Mt Wolf Elementary), focused on both regular education and Autistic support classrooms, managing a caseload of 50–55 students across two buildings. Some case management responsibilities are included. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., August 18, 2026 – May 27, 2027, 35 hours/week.
- One provider for Early Intervention services, working with children ages 3–5 with Special Ed needs in New Oxford/Gettysburg. Year-round role with frequent school breaks; dedicated documentation time included in your week.
- Additional opening for an SLP (not SLPA) supporting an elementary school in York County, PA for the 2026/2027 school year. Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP Certification and PA Teaching Certification required (documentation must accompany resume)
- SLP-CCC strongly preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience and/or Early Intervention experience highly desirable
- CFs considered (with agency-provided supervision fee)
- Strong communication, case management, and record-keeping skills
- Passion for fostering student development
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to assigned caseload
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation
