School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Spartanburg, South Carolina

Qualifications and Skills:

• Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Current South Carolina Educator Certificate required
• SLP-CCC credential strongly preferred
• Prior experience delivering school-based SLP services (K-12 settings)
• Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite and engage with students and staff in person

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students across K-12 grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
• Document student services, maintain accurate records, and report progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for classroom strategies
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student backgrounds and learning needs
