Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification, or eligibility for state licensure
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Solid grasp of assessment, intervention, and counseling techniques
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor interventions tailored for individual or group settings
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to support student achievement and emotional health
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights into student progress and necessary accommodations
- Promote positive behavioral supports and school-wide mental health initiatives
- Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to all ethical and confidentiality standards
