As an invaluable resource to students, families, and educators, you will collaborate on supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic growth while managing a diverse caseload.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Florida Department of Health Psychologist license required
- Solid experience with administering and interpreting assessments in educational settings
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Ability to write detailed reports and participate in IEP meetings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to working with students across various age groups
- Willingness to serve multiple school sites in an itinerant capacity as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Prepare clear and thorough reports documenting findings and recommendations
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in developing and reviewing IEPs
- Provide strategies and support for students’ academic, social, and behavioral needs
- Consult with teachers and staff to promote student success
- Travel between assigned schools within the district, depending on assignment needs
