Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current and active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with TVI endorsement (required)
- Previous experience supporting students with visual impairments is a plus
- Strong communication, adaptability, and organization skills
- Ability to travel locally between school sites in the Glendale Heights area
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and consultative services to elementary and middle school students with visual impairments
- Work collaboratively with educational teams to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records
- Serve as a resource for staff and families on visual impairment needs
