Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting and finance team. This position will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, cost accounting support, inventory analysis, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys partnering with operations and leadership teams to drive financial accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Prepare and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
  • Assist with inventory accounting, inventory reconciliations, and cycle count reviews.
  • Support cost accounting activities, including standard costing, product costing, and manufacturing variance analysis.
  • Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages.
  • Monitor and maintain fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accruals.
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and plant leadership to provide financial insights and reporting.
  • Assist with annual audits and coordinate requests with external auditors.
  • Evaluate and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal control requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, or manufacturing accounting preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
  • CPA designation or CPA-track is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
