We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team and primarily support our Wire Room operations. This role is responsible for accurately cutting, measuring, and preparing wire for customer orders while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. No prior experience is required, and training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately identify wire type, size, and color based on customer orders.
  • Measure and cut wire to the required lengths.
  • Coil wire onto wooden reels, metal reels, or hand coils as needed.
  • Operate a hydraulic wire machine to measure, cut, and coil wire.
  • Use hand tools for small-gauge wire and power tools for larger-gauge wire.
  • Operate a forklift to load and move large wire reels within warehouse racking systems.
  • Maintain organization and inventory within the wire room.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties when wire-cutting volume is low, including:
    • Shipping
    • Receiving
    • Order picking
    • General warehouse support

Qualifications

  • No prior warehouse experience required.
  • Ability to learn new processes and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
  • Forklift experience is a plus, but not required (training may be provided).
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
