Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- State licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in early childhood or kindergarten settings is a strong asset
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to early childhood and kindergarten students during the contract period
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Work closely with teachers, aides, and families to integrate therapy goals into daily classroom activities
- Contribute expertise in developing classroom strategies that support diverse learners
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations as part of a collaborative team
