From August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, you’ll work a steady 30 hours per week (7:30 AM–3:00 PM) across Vernon Elementary and High School, serving an engaging caseload of 150 PreK–12th grade students. Supervising three SLAs, you’ll build leadership skills, collaborate with diverse educators, and encounter a broad spectrum of speech and language needs—strengthening your clinical abilities and broadening your professional horizons. This travel assignment introduces you to evolving school-based practices and valuable mentorships, creating space for both career growth and meaningful adventures.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Current CCC-SLP certification
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred
  • Ability to supervise Speech-Language Assistants (SLAs)
  • Comfortable managing a mixed caseload (PreK–12)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy
  • Assess, develop, and implement student IEPs
  • Supervise three SLAs and ensure quality intervention delivery
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
