Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving a diverse K-12th grade caseload as a dedicated School Psychologist. In this full-time role, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster student success and well-being in an engaging educational community.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current and valid state credential/license in School Psychology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with K-12 student populations, across a range of developmental and learning needs
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong skills in consultation, intervention planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Solid understanding of IEP process, special education law, and best practices in interventions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ academic, cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Participate in and facilitate Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to identify students needing support and develop targeted intervention plans
- Provide direct and indirect services including counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management
- Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of academic and behavioral support strategies
- Serve as a resource and advocate for mental health and positive school climate initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
