New hire orientation is scheduled for August 12-14, with the assignment running Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Current Illinois COTA license (active status required; please provide documentation when applying)
  • Experience or a strong interest in school-based occupational therapy, particularly supporting special education needs
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to adapt to a low caseload and evolving student needs across various grade levels
  • Professional commitment to onsite support throughout the academic year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement therapeutic activities and interventions under direct supervision of an Occupational Therapist for K-12 students with diverse learning profiles
  • Track and document student progress as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Support individualized educational plans (IEP) and contribute to goal achievement
