A growing national construction management firm is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead hotel renovation and commercial construction projects across the United States. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced field leader who enjoys travel, thrives in fast-paced project environments, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work with minimal disruption to active hospitality operations.
The Traveling Construction Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations from kickoff through completion, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal project teams to keep work safe, organized, on schedule, and aligned with project requirements. This role offers strong long-term potential with a collaborative team culture, supportive leadership, advancement opportunities, and exposure to exciting renovation projects nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily field operations for assigned construction and renovation projects from project start through closeout.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, project managers, architects, engineers, and client representatives.
- Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, resolve field issues, and help minimize delays.
- Enforce OSHA regulations, company safety policies, site cleanliness standards, and quality expectations.
- Review plans, specifications, and construction documents to ensure work is completed accurately.
- Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, safety records, and status updates.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $75,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience.
