Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Mammography certification preferred)
- State-specific licensure for radiologic technologists
- Previous clinical experience in mammography imaging
- Strong knowledge of breast anatomy and mammography positioning techniques
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Proficiency with digital imaging systems and medical record documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality mammography exams in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
- Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and thorough explanation of procedures
- Accurately document imaging procedures and assist in diagnostic interpretation
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment; troubleshoot issues as needed
