School-Based Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist (OT) – Wauconda, IL

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school district in Wauconda, Illinois for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative special education team while helping students build the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Position Details

• Location: Wauconda, IL
• Schedule: Full-Time
• School Year: 2026–2027
• Setting: Onsite, School-Based
• Caseload: Assigned based on experience and district needs

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and direct services to students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations as needed

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility to obtain one
• Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $39.46 to $59.46. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
