Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Current (or eligibility for) Tennessee SLP licensure
  • Experience working within school settings, especially with elementary ages
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload of around 63 K–6 students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy, assessments, and progress tracking
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Document services and maintain compliance with school/state/federal regulations
  • Support K-6 students in developing essential academic and communication skills
