School Psychologist | Painesville, Ohio

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school psychologist serving two dynamic educational settings in the Painesville, OH area. This position features a balanced schedule with direct impact and built-in flexibility. Spend three days each week supporting students across K-12 grades in a comprehensive school environment, and dedicate one day to a STEM-focused school working with grades 6–12. You’ll also benefit from one dedicated remote day for paperwork—and the possibility to negotiate a hybrid schedule that allows for even greater flexibility.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students referred for academic or behavioral concerns
• Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention strategies
• Participating in IEP meetings and helping create customized education plans
• Offering counseling services to students individually and in groups
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records, and preparing detailed reports
• Providing consultation on best practices for supporting diverse learners
• Facilitating training and workshops on mental health and wellness topics

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with K–12 and/or grades 6–12 students
• Strong assessment, data interpretation, and counseling skills
• Familiarity with IEP team collaboration and special education processes
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Comfortable navigating both in-person and remote responsibilities
• Flexibility to work at multiple sites and adapt to a hybrid environment
