Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student communication and language growth in an elementary school setting. A highly-skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed on-site three days per week for the first semester, focusing on elementary-aged students in a supportive educational environment. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to create positive, effective learning experiences for approximately 38 students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Current Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certificate (required)
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and deliver direct therapy services

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students, focusing on individualized needs and goals
  • Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and parents to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
  • Maintain accurate and timely records per school and legal requirements

Position Details:

  • Contract position for the first semester (August 2026 to January 2027)
  • Three days per week, 8:15 AM to 3:40 PM
  • Onsite at a well-supported elementary campus
  • Manage a manageable caseload of around 38 students
