Key Qualifications:

  • Current CDE Special Education (SPED) licensure required
  • Experience working with mild to moderate special education caseloads preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with elementary school settings and developmentally appropriate practices
  • Commitment to supporting inclusive and positive learning environments

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with mild/moderate disabilities within the elementary setting
  • Consult and collaborate with general educators, school staff, and families to deliver integrated support
  • Track student progress, maintain timely educational records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt teaching materials and strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs
  • Foster a classroom climate that encourages engagement and respect
  • Utilize evidence-based instructional practices to support each learner’s growth
