Your impact will be felt across a campus of approximately 900 students, where your expertise in assessments and collaboration will shape a positive school environment. Last year’s caseload focused on around 70 students for assessments, making this a meaningful and manageable role for a skilled school psychologist eager to support student achievement.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a school setting, preferably high school
- Strong assessment and report-writing skills
- Familiarity with psychoeducational testing
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Effective interpersonal and communication abilities
- Organizational skills to handle caseload management
- Adaptability and a compassionate approach to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Interpret test data and create clear, actionable reports
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators on student support strategies
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations
- Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation as needed
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions in partnership with support staff
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for students with varied needs
