Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as a school psychologist on a contract assignment beginning in early January. This twelve-week position focuses on an elementary caseload within a single school, enabling you to build meaningful connections and provide consistent, impactful support to students and staff.

Enjoy the balance of a hybrid working model, with three in-person days each week—Monday being essential—paired with the flexibility of two virtual days. You'll play a critical role in the academic, social, and emotional development of elementary students, ensuring their needs are addressed and supporting a positive learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Pennsylvania
  • Experience working in elementary school settings is strongly preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to contribute effectively to multi-disciplinary teams and collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Comfortable with both in-person and virtual service delivery
  • Effective communicator, organized, and adaptable

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments and generate related reports
  • Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and provide expert recommendations
  • Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
  • Guide staff and parents on strategies to support student well-being and achievement
  • Help design and monitor individualized interventions and progress
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation
