Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract position as a School Psychologist and support students across various grade levels in a dynamic educational setting. With openings available at elementary, middle, and high school levels, this opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact through your expertise in assessments, evaluations, and interventions. This role provides flexibility with a hybrid schedule—work two days remotely and three days onsite—and is open to part-time providers as well.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience conducting testing, assessments, and evaluations in a school environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt services to students across different age groups (elementary, middle, high school)
- Comfortable working independently and within multidisciplinary teams
- Tech-savvy and proficient with teletherapy platforms, if remote
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete psychoeducational assessments, testing, and written reports
- Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to develop effective intervention plans
- Participate in eligibility meetings and provide recommendations informed by assessment results
- Support the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students
- Maintain detailed, confidential records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation services as needed
