This full-time, contract position spans the entirety of the 2026-2027 school year, covering the fall semester through the end of the academic year. Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or license as a school psychologist
- Master’s degree or higher in school psychology or a related field
- Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of assessment procedures and special education regulations
- Strong communication, consultation, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students
- Interpret assessment results to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to address student needs
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support
- Offer consultation and training to staff on academic, social, and emotional interventions
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, contributing expertise to support student success
- Uphold and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
