Key Qualifications:
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility preferred
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is beneficial
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to promote academic success
- Document student progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide direct therapy sessions both individually and in small groups
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the broader school community
