Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Illinois SLP state license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred
  • Experience in school-based settings, especially elementary, strongly desired
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address individual student needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making
  • Implement evidence-based interventions for a variety of speech and language needs
