Job Description

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current and valid LPN license
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is beneficial
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following established protocols
- Assess and manage minor injuries and illnesses; provide appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and health professionals regarding student care plans
- Educate students and staff on health topics, hygiene, and safety precautions
- Monitor for communicable diseases and assist with immunization compliance
- Support students with chronic conditions or special healthcare needs during the school day
