School Psychologist – PreK–8 | Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year | Homewood, Illinois

Pay: $50.44–$60.21 per hour

Soliant is seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a full-time opportunity during the 2026–2027 school year. Join a supportive school team dedicated to helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally in a PreK–8th grade setting.

Position Details

• School Year: August 18, 2026 – June 4, 2027
• Hours: 35–37 hours per week
• Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
• Caseload: Approximately 180 students, shared with another School Psychologist
• Student Population: PreK–8th Grade

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments
• Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on eligibility determinations and individualized education plans
• Consult with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
• Must meet all Illinois requirements for School Psychologists
• Previous school-based experience required
• New graduates are not being considered for this position
