This rewarding contract opportunity near Morrisville, PA, calls for a skilled professional ready to begin as soon as possible, working 40 hours each week. You’ll be supporting a student body with around 200 identified students and will collaborate closely with an experienced, full-time psychologist already on-site. The focus is on in-person support—your presence and expertise will directly benefit students and staff alike.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting evaluations, assessments, and implementing intervention strategies in school settings
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and special education processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students, analyzing results to determine educational needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and social/emotional issues
  • Assist with crisis intervention and prevention strategies as needed
  • Support data-driven decision making and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in team meetings and offer professional guidance on student welfare
