Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid School Psychologist certification.
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience providing psychological services within a school setting (elementary school experience preferred).
  • Skilled in psychological assessment, behavioral intervention, and counseling for diverse student populations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to consult effectively with educators, families, and support staff.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for young learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services.
  • Deliver direct and consultative psychological services, including individual and group counseling.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor student plans.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to design and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Promote social-emotional wellness through classroom lessons and staff training as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards in student records.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support for students facing acute challenges.
