Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Yonkers, NY

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Neurology | Yonkers, NYSchedule: Mon - Fri - Full time (On-site)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, medical histories, and neurological examinations

• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and incorporate findings into patient care decisions

• Manage medications, follow-up visits, and ongoing patient monitoring

• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing (for NP) or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New York State

• Experience in neurology, internal medicine, or a related specialty Required

• BLS/ACLS certification preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and care management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems

• Commitment to evidence-based care and patient safety

• Ability to work full-time, on-site in Yonkers, NY
