This maternity leave coverage position offers approximately 3 days per week throughout the first semester. Designed for School Psychologists who are passionate about making a meaningful difference, you’ll deliver assessment, consultation, and intervention expertise to help every student access the resources and support they need to thrive. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Wisconsin certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Strong background in learning and behavioral assessment methodologies, including cognitive, achievement, and social-emotional evaluations
  • Prior experience in K-12 school settings is preferred
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments and interpret data for educational planning purposes
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families on student needs and evidence-based interventions
  • Develop and guide the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
  • Engage in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) activities
  • Provide counseling services and crisis intervention to students as necessary
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress, collaborating closely with school personnel
