Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Demonstrated experience in school-based settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for a range of communication disorders
- Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and parents
- Compassionate, student-centered attitude and a commitment to fostering growth and confidence in children
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary school students, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s unique abilities
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, progress monitoring, and required reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
