Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
  • Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for a range of communication disorders
  • Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and parents
  • Compassionate, student-centered attitude and a commitment to fostering growth and confidence in children

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary school students, both individually and in small groups
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s unique abilities
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, progress monitoring, and required reporting
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
