Make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing speech-language services in a supportive school environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced SLP-CCC interested in working with pre-kindergarten students for the 2026–27 school year. Enjoy the flexibility to tailor your own schedule—choose between part-time or full-time, with 2–3 days per week of in-person support.

You’ll work closely with a manageable caseload of 50–55 students, making meaningful progress at 2–3 school sites near Los Angeles (one location per day). Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to deliver evidence-based interventions and help students build strong communication skills from an early age.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Valid SLP-CCC certification and licensure in California
  • Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings, especially working with pre-kindergarten populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Skilled at developing and implementing IEPs for young learners
  • Ability to travel to different school sites within the area

In this role, your responsibilities will involve:

  • Direct speech-language therapy for pre-kindergarten students in small group or one-on-one settings
  • Assessing students, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in IEP meetings and following through with related documentation
  • Empowering students to achieve developmental milestones and communication goals
