Radiologic Technologist - Charlotte, NC

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• On-call required for 2 shifts per month as needed
• Participation in a weekend rotation
• Expect to work approximately 75% of scheduled holidays
• No floating to other departments

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification and registration as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• State licensure in radiologic technology (as required)
• Demonstrated competency in imaging procedures, including both general radiology and X-ray examinations
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support collaboration with the care team and patient interaction
• Ability to independently manage tasks and respond to on-call situations as needed
• Previous experience in a hospital or fast-paced imaging setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure clear, high-quality images to assist with accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with policies
• Adhere strictly to infection control and safety standards throughout all procedures
• Communicate clearly with patients, providing explanations and reassurance as needed
• Respond promptly and professionally to on-call assignments
