Warehouse Associate
Job Description
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily inventory and warehouse operations at our customer’s facility. This position is responsible for managing inventory, processing orders, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring employees have the materials, tools, and supplies needed to support daily operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, inventory control, receiving, or material handling experience who enjoys a combination of computer work and hands-on warehouse responsibilities.
Available Shifts:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Occasional mandatory overtime may be required
Weekend work may be required based on business needs
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, organize, and stock incoming materials, tools, and supplies
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts
Create purchase orders, requisitions, and inventory requests using computer systems
Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed
Issue tools, equipment, and materials to employees while maintaining accurate records
Load and unload vending machines and assist with warehouse operations
Label, organize, and store materials properly to maximize space
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area using 5S practices
Assist with receiving, stocking, and other facility duties as needed
Identify and report damaged, missing, or misplaced inventory
Requirements:
Previous warehouse, inventory control, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Reliable, punctual, and dependable work habits
Good communication and customer service skills
Mechanical or tool knowledge is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach throughout the workday
Ability to safely handle and move inventory following standard operating and safety procedures
May be required to wear PPE including steel-toe shoes, gloves, and protective eyewear
May be required to complete warehouse equipment certifications (written and/or driving)
Work environment may become warm during summer months (facility is not air-conditioned)
