Job Summary

A respected higher education institution in the Inland Empire, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner. This role is ideal for a strategic HR professional who excels in employee relations, leadership coaching, workplace investigations, compliance, and organizational support.

The HR Business Partner will work closely with campus leadership and department managers to strengthen workplace culture, resolve complex employee matters, and support fair, consistent HR practices. Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to managers, department leaders, and campus leadership on employee relations and HR best practices.
- Lead complex employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance concerns, workplace investigations, corrective actions, and documentation.
- Coach leaders on performance management, progressive discipline, policy interpretation, and effective employee communication.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including California labor laws and Title IX-related employee matters.
- Partner with leadership on employee engagement, retention strategies, organizational change, workforce planning, and HR process improvement.
- Analyze HR trends and recommend proactive solutions to improve employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $85,000 to $100,000 per year.
