Physical Therapist - School Setting in Downingtown, PA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs across all grade levels, K-12
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with physical therapy needs
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions that promote student mobility and access to learning
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure continuity of care and support classroom success
• Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Provide recommendations and training for staff and families to facilitate student achievement and wellbeing
