Advance your physical therapy career by working with students across a diverse age range, from kindergarten through age 22. This contract opportunity offers flexibility with either part-time (4 days/week) or full-time (5 days/week) options. Your workweek would span 26 to 32.5 paid hours, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday (excluding a 30-minute unpaid lunch). You’ll support learners in two distinct educational settings and within specialized programs designed to meet individualized student needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license for the state
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric physical therapy setting highly preferred
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention planning, and implementation for students with varying needs
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, other therapists, and staff
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple educational service locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students ages 5–22, focusing on access to education and functional mobility
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress aligned with IEP goals
  • Document interventions, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
  • Consult and collaborate with educational staff and families to support carryover and generalization of therapy goals
  • Participate in program development and staff training within the assigned schools and programs
