Make a meaningful difference by supporting students with diverse needs as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic K-12 education setting. This contract opportunity offers flexibility and the chance to contribute to student success across multiple sites, including positions for both full-time year-round work and maternity leave coverage starting in August and projected through March.

In this role, you'll serve students aged 3-22 with varying disabilities, providing assessments and interventions that shape their educational journeys. Your expertise in administering tools such as the BOT 3 and Peabody will be essential, and you'll have the autonomy to manage your schedule and caseload as student needs shift.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Prior experience working within California school settings
  • Proficiency in administering the BOT 3 and Peabody assessments for students ages 3-22 with multiple disabilities
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, respond to parental concerns, and formulate service recommendations
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently in the field, including creating personalized schedules based on district needs
  • Flexible in adapting to fluctuating caseloads and travel between sites
  • Spanish bilingual skills are a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services and assessments to students with mild to severe needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case records
  • Collaborate with staff and families to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Routinely analyze assessment data to guide intervention and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and district regulations
