Seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists with a passion for making a difference in school communities! Full-time contract opportunities are available for professionals eager to support students’ growth and communication skills in a dynamic educational environment located near New Bedford, MA. Multiple positions are open, including two full-time assignments and coverage for three maternity leaves.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) with at least 2 to 3 years post-certification experience.
  • Previous experience working within school settings is required.
  • Willingness and capability to work in-person on a full-time basis.
  • Ability to supervise up to three Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), supporting them in managing a combined caseload of up to 165 students.
  • Comfortable supporting SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and SLPA roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language services to students with varying needs.
  • Supervise SLPAs, providing oversight for treatment protocols, documentation, reporting, and progress monitoring.
  • Conduct special education eligibility evaluations (initial and re-evaluations).
  • Participate actively in all IEP meetings, sharing data, presenting evaluations, and offering recommendations.
  • Draft, maintain, and update IEPs for assigned students, adapting strategies to shifting caseloads.
