What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current and valid PA SLP Educator Certificate required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience providing speech therapy services within a school or educational setting.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide specialized support to students ages elementary through early adolescence.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 38 elementary-aged students.
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals.
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student progress and engagement.
- Maintain timely, accurate records and documentation as required by state and federal regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences as needed.
- Provide guidance and resources to school staff and students’ families regarding communication disorders.
This rewarding contract runs from August 24th, 2026 to January 4th, 2027, with a work schedule of three days per week, 8:15 AM to 3:40 PM. The position is fully onsite at Dunbar Township Elementary and centers on supporting students’ communication needs during the first semester.
