Make an impact as a Pre-K Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year in the greater Nashville area. This onsite contract opportunity spans from late August through late May, providing a stable and rewarding environment to support young learners within a dedicated special education team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Tennessee Special Education teaching license with endorsements: 459, 465, 468, 2000, or 2001
  • Willingness and eligibility to obtain a Pre-K endorsement (strong candidates may take the required Praxis, with exam costs covered by the school)
  • Experience or true interest in working with Pre-K special education students
  • Ability to design and implement individualized education plans
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, staff, and related service providers

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support and teach a caseload of Pre-K students in a school-based setting
  • Develop engaging, personalized lesson plans accommodating a range of abilities and needs
  • Track student progress, document interventions, and adjust strategies to maximize growth
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff to create inclusive classroom experiences
  • Foster a positive, supportive learning environment for children with diverse needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with parents and team members

This position offers:
