Quick Facts: Location: Atlantic City, NJ 08401 (with coverage at Pomona, NJ) Start Date: 06/23/2026 End Date/Duration: 6 months Shift: Days, Monday - Friday Hours/week: Full-time (as scheduled) Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licenses/Certifications: NJ license required; BLS, ACLS standard certifications; First Assist certification with robotics experience preferred Experience: At least several years of gynecology surgical assistance, robotic surgery experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay rate: Details discussed upon application Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws 24/7 dedicated team support from VHS What You’ll Do: Assist in gynecological surgeries, including robotic procedures, as a First Assist in inpatient OR settings Collaborate with surgeons and the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care Support perioperative activities and surgical preparation Maintain documentation within Cerner/Oracle EMR system Manage an average of 2-6 surgeries per day Follow all safety protocols and surgical standards What You Need: Active New Jersey licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with RNFA certification and robotics experience Prior experience in gynecological surgery, especially robotic procedures Proficiency in surgical assistance and perioperative care Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow surgical protocols About the Assignment: This assignment involves gynecology surgical assistance in a specialized inpatient OR setting. The provider will work with experienced surgical teams at a prominent medical center, providing critical support for robotic gynecologic surgeries.
